Westsylvania Arts Festival

Due to the weather forecast, the festivals have been moved to the Indiana Mall.

Because the visual arts and live music are better together, the Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Festival and Westsylvania Arts Fest are again joining forces in Indiana, Pennsylvania (hometown of screen legend Jimmy Stewart, 90 minutes northeast of Pittsburgh). The weekend draws attendees and artists from around the region for free gallery shows, demonstrations, and hands-on activities. And it’s all anchored by a full day of free jazz and blues performances by regional and national artists Saturday, May 23. Find helpful links below - see you soon!

In addition to art vendors and gallery shows, the Westsylvania Arts Fest will include demonstrations and hands-on experiences.

Art Demonstrations and Experiences

Indiana Mall 11am - 6pm

Westsylvania Masterworks Live Auction 7pm

Demonstrations will include painting, pottery, felting, weaving, and woodturning. Most will offer hands-on opportunities (except for the chain saw carving, of course).

The painters are engaged in a "Live Arts" exhibition of talent much like a Master Chef competition, but for artists. They will create a painting in a day, beginning at 11am and ending at 6pm. Their works will be auctioned off at 7pm to benefit both the artists and the Indiana Arts Council. Auctioneer Erin Cunningham is the grand daughter of legendary live auctioneer Pete Stewart.
