Read our end of year letter:

A silent theater. An empty gallery. Quiet streets. That could’ve been Indiana County in 2023.

But together, we are transforming this place.

A historic theater in downtown Indiana now routinely hosts live music concerts, movies, and performances. We helped to bring this all to life, and now, a new organization is maintaining this important staple.

Bringing hundreds to downtown Indiana for the weekend, the signature Delaney Chevrolet Westsylvania Jazz and Blues Fest filled the streets with music, dancing, and community. With featured performers from around the world and from our neck of the woods, we were honored to host another free festival for our community through your generous support.

Thousands of artworks from student artists from around the county were displayed at the Indiana Mall in the spring, sharing the hardwork and beauty of the region’s impressive youngest artists. This year, the 15th annual Youth Arts Celebration hosted musicians, presented written works, and had an impressive array of paintings, sculptures, photographs, and drawings. With art teachers as our primary partner, we are honored by their dedication to their students and to the community.

Blank walls have become testaments to coal miners, celebrations of Indiana County’s future, and beautiful displays of our region’s embrace of the arts. The public art projects, done in collaboration with Indiana County’s Office of Planning & Development and the Creative Spaces Collective, added color and vibrancy to spots all throughout the county. From Homer City to Smicksburg, we transformed these places.

Thanks to grant funding, member support, and our corporate sponsors, we were able to fuel these initiatives, but we need your support for 2024. We have impacted thousands of residents and visitors this past year, and we see the potential for next year. Please join us as we continue to uplift, support, and encourage the arts in Indiana County.

We have to be honest… We’re not website developers. Our volunteers are dedicated to learning new skills to make the arts come to life. Coding is hard, friends. Our old website, which is still operational but not updateable, has our donation page. Please consider donating to support our mission:
